Electric Mobility at the
service of commerce

Electric mobility refers to the use of electric vehicles (EVs) as a means of transport. These vehicles are powered by electricity rather than fossil fuels, making them a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional petrol cars.

In recent years there has been an increase in the use of electric mobility driven by a variety of factors, including concerns about air pollution and climate change, as well as advances in battery technology and the availability of government incentives.

One of the main advantages of electric vehicles is their environmental impact. EVs produce no emissions when driven, as they do not burn fossil fuels so do not contribute to air pollution. They also produce far fewer greenhouse gas emissions over their lifetime than petrol cars. No exhaust fumes or noise pollution : bringing calm and tranquility back to the city.
As the know-how in battery recycling has increased considerably in recent years, and a desire for eco-design and an eco-mobile approach, it has become much easier and more enticing to use these technologies.

Another advantage of electric vehicles is their cost-effectiveness. The cost of ownership is often lower due to reduced maintenance costs (no fuel, insurance or parking costs). In addition, many countries offer financial incentives, such as tax credits or rebates, to encourage the use of electric vehicles.

Electrically assisted scooters and trolleys are of particular interest as they are very easily accessible to all ages : they do not require a license and can be driven by anyone aged 14 or over.

They are a much faster means of transport than conventional thermal vehicles, as they also have the advantage of being compact and adapted for use anywhere; can navigate around urban furniture, on narrow and bumpy paths, and even in certain lifts.

Electric mobility also improves energy security, as it reduces our dependence on imported fossil fuels. The electricity used to power EVs can be generated from a variety of sources, including renewables such as solar and wind power.

Recharging the battery of an electric soft mobility vehicle is extremely simple : a "household" power outlet is all that is needed.

Overall, electric mobility offers a number of benefits, including reduced environmental impact, cost effectiveness and energy security. As the technology continues to improve, we are likely to see increasing use of EVs in the coming months and years.

At MOXO, we have designed our range to meet a number of needs :
• Professional deliveries, in town centres or rural areas,
• Keeping city centres clean,
• The democratization of family leisure activities in complete safety, whether for transporting children or people with reduced mobility using our adapted range.

With regards to the environment and the new obligations relating to this, effective solutions must be found that are as neutral as possible in order to meet the new needs of consumer and public services.

The implementation of the AGEC law (calling for the elimination of all thermal engines for city centre deliveries by 2024) has created a need for which there was a real lack of propositions.
With this in mind, and in order to meet our customers' demands for soft mobility solutions, we have developed the new TROT range of vehicles, able to travel on pavements (in accordance with current regulations) therefore resolving two issues in urban areas : delivery and cleanliness.

Our new model, the TROTCARGO®, was designed in conjunction with the retail industry. It’s very first version was customized at the request of our customer, Intermarché Head Office. They currently use two models in two of their sales outlets in Paris enabling them to deliver to customers within the town centre. It was this initial creation that influenced our research regarding technical requirements, safety and standards compliance.

Our electric vehicles are the result of five years of research and development and were designed with the help of occupational therapists and professionals. They are conceived and assembled here, in our workshops in Châteauroux (France), a fact that we are very proud of.
